How does a laser eye treatment work?
1. Free preliminary examination
Free and non-binding preliminary examination
During the first examination, we clarify whether – and which – procedure is suitable for your eyes.
This examination is completely free of charge and takes around 30 minutes.
We primarily examine your cornea and determine whether laser treatment is an option.
If this is not the case, we will inform you about alternative possibilities such as MIOL or ICL to help you achieve permanently sharp vision – completely without visual aids.
You will also receive a cost estimate and an appointment for the main preliminary examination.

2. Main examination
If laser eye treatment is suitable for you, your visual capacity will be analyzed in detail and the appropriate method will be determined.
First, we recheck the results of the short examination.
We measure your iris and cornea to create a precise eye model that helps determine the best laser procedure and serves as guidance during the operation.
You will also receive a detailed explanation of the surgical process.

3. Laser eye treatment
A laser eye operation at My Laser Vision is a highly standardized process carried out by ophthalmologists with many years of experience.
You are truly in the best hands.

4. Follow-up check
To monitor your healing progress, we schedule a follow-up appointment either one day after the treatment (for LASIK) or after 4–5 days (for PRK).
This is also where the dates for the one-month and one-year check-ups are set.

25. October 2025Ich habe vor fünf Wochen meine Augen mit der CTEN-Methode behandeln lassen. Vor dem Eingriff hatte ich eine Sehschwäche von über -7 Dioptrien und bin nun, mit 23 Jahren, überglücklich, diesen Schritt gewagt zu haben. Ich sehe auf die Ferne bereits mit einer Sehstärke von 120%. Aktuell habe ich beim Lesen noch leichte Schwierigkeiten, da die Heilung noch nicht vollständig abgeschlossen ist. Das sollte sich jedoch von Woche zu Woche bessern. Der gesamte Ablauf, vom ersten Beratungsgespräch bis zur Nachsorge, war absolut professionell. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr familiär, man fühlt sich sofort wohl und bestens aufgehoben. Das Team ist unglaublich sympathisch und kompetent. Die Operation verlief schnell und völlig problemlos. Ich bin rundum zufrieden und kann My Laser Vision nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen.
