10. October 2025Ich habe vor fünf Wochen meine Augen mit der CTEN-Methode behandeln lassen. Vor dem Eingriff hatte ich eine Sehschwäche von über -7 Dioptrien und bin nun, mit 23 Jahren, überglücklich, diesen Schritt gewagt zu haben. Ich sehe auf die Ferne bereits mit einer Sehstärke von 120%. Aktuell habe ich beim Lesen noch leichte Schwierigkeiten, da die Heilung noch nicht vollständig abgeschlossen ist. Das sollte sich jedoch von Woche zu Woche bessern. Der gesamte Ablauf, vom ersten Beratungsgespräch bis zur Nachsorge, war absolut professionell. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr familiär, man fühlt sich sofort wohl und bestens aufgehoben. Das Team ist unglaublich sympathisch und kompetent. Die Operation verlief schnell und völlig problemlos. How safe is laser eye surgery?

What risks are associated with laser eye surgery?
As with any medical procedure, certain risks cannot be completely excluded.
More common temporary side effects include dry eyes, increased light sensitivity or halos and glare – especially at night.
These usually subside on their own within the first weeks.
Serious complications such as infections or undercorrection/overcorrection are very rare.
With careful diagnostics, modern laser technology and precise treatment planning, these risks can be significantly minimized.

Does health insurance cover the costs?
In general, basic insurance does not cover laser eye surgery, as it is classified as an elective or comfort treatment.
